The Working Group of Traceability & Big Data in Circular Economy held a new meeting last 27 June. The main objective was the presentation of results coming from the survey prepared together the S3 Community of Practice (S3 CoP) expert service for Funding, Finance and Investment Assistance and the WG leader, Terhi Korpi (Seinajoki University).
This survey was previously distributed by participant regions among the regional stakeholders interested in particular items related to Circular Economy and Bioeconomy. The feedback obtained aims to trace the future work of the WG.
Ms Korpi presented the results of the different questions raised. It includes general agreements on a glossary of common definitions and bottlenecks encountered in Circular Economy and Bioeconomy development. Additionally, the specific interest of participant entities, capabilities, resources available, experience on the field and expected impacts were also presented.
A fruitful debate was raised and important topics were discussed as part of the answers received.
The S3 CoP expert in charge of the service, Jean François Romainville, valued positively the number and quality of responses received and pointed out the significant opportunity of the I3 Instrument for this WG.
The next meeting of the WG will be after the summer break, starting a phase focused on the search for concrete funding opportunities to work for and cooperate.
