The Thematic Partnership S3P Traceability & Big Data in the agrifood value chain continues moving forward the objectives established in its last Technical Meeting. One of them was the creation of two Working Groups about different investment ideas proposed by different actors of the participant regions in our European network.
During the Technical Meeting, these investment ideas where presented and ranked by every region, according to regional priorities such as the S4 strategies or areas of interest covered by Traceability & Big Data. Latterly, most voted investment ideas where selected as the first Working Groups to be created and then, all partners, regions and associated members, had the opportunity to formally join to these groups.
Finally, last 22nd of May, the kick-off meeting of the investment ideas Working Groups were celebrated. Together to the lead and co-lead regions, Soila Huhtaluhta coming from the Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences – SeAMK and Gian Luca Barchi from RI.NOVA as coordinators of each Working Group, met to know each other, introduce the expected work and formalise the main guidelines to be followed in order to achieve the expected results.
It is expected that both Working Groups will officially start during June.

· "Interoperable data integration platforms” proposed by Emilia-Romagna, led by Gian Luca Barchi (RI.NOVA)
