After several months of preparation, the free E-Learning Data platform has been launched, developed within the Interreg POCTEP HUB IBERIA AGROTECH (HIBA) project through the cooperative work of several centers of expertise that are partners and beneficiaries of this European initiative with a long history in agro-digitalization, such as the School of Agricultural and Forestry Engineering (ETSIAM) of the University of Cordoba, the University of Evora and the University of Algarve. The platform also had the collaboration of the Agricultural Cooperatives of Andalusia.
The platform offers MOOCs on Digital Enabling Technologies for the agro-sector, adapted to different user profiles, access to innovative tools that promote entrepreneurship, support for training through virtual assistants and knowledge about the most relevant aspects of precision agriculture, among others. Additionally, a virtual assistant available 24 hours a day, HIBABot, will be available to answer any questions that users may have.
The platform is aimed at people who work or undertake in the agri-food sector, service sector companies, local development groups, agricultural associations, trainers and non-university and university students. It will allow testing innovations and experimenting with technologies to promote the entrepreneurial spirit, improve training in agro-digitalization and provide support in decision-making. To benefit from all its services, it is only necessary to register here. Currently, this platform is available only in Portuguese and Spanish.
The HIBA project is a Cross-border Cooperation Interreg Spain-Portugal (POCTEP) that will promote a multi-regional ecosystem focused on the digitalization of the agri-food sector in Spain and Portugal, through the creation of a network of Digital Innovation Hubs (DIH) that will encourage initiative, competitiveness and business sustainability, promoting economic reactivation and the creation of jobs.
