REGIONS 4FOOD Project celebrated the 5th Steering Committee on November 24th 2020 and was entirely held online due to the continuous Covid-19 scenario across Europe, instead of being organized in Emilia Romagna region as foreseen.
It was a great opportunity to meet virtually again and to make the point concerning the following four key points related to the 4th reporting period, which started in December 1st 2019 and finalized in May 31st 2020:
Additionally, interesting recommendations for the 5th reporting period were given and the basis for the next steps and activities foreseen on 6th semester were layed, taking into consideration that the possibility of extending phase 1 by six months was debated and supported unanimously by all partners in order to face and minimise the impact that Covid-19 is causing in REGIONS 4FOOD project, with the aim of completing the exchange of experiences and implementing certain delayed learning actions at all levels which would allow the project to reach the highest level of policy learning possible.
In case of approval by the Joint Secretariat, phase 1 would be extended by six months, and phase 2 which is focused on the regional Action Plans monitoring would be reduced by the same time, remaining unchanged the whole project lifetime (ten semesters).
