Food Days in Seinäjoki have been celebrated in Finland from the 5th to the 8th of September, bringing together food chain innovators and a proper place for the food business. During the Food Days event week, the spotlight was on the strong food expertise of the South Ostrobothnia region, innovative and international food chain development and fruitful encounters around the food theme of the future.
Mixing a complete range of events dedicated to the region’s population, experts and stakeholders of the agrifood value chain, both regional and internationally, the program contained 4 dedicated forums: Excellence Forum, Innovative Food Business, Innofood – International Food Innovation Days and Meetup for Innocities, and 2 public events for consumers: the Kauhajoki Food Fair and the Local Food Day.
Food Days Seinäjoki event week is part of the Innovation ecosystem agreement project coordinated by Into Seinäjoki Oy. The project is funded by the European Union and the city of Seinäjoki. This is part of the InnoCities network consisting of 16 cities in Finland. InnoCities uses cooperation to create innovation and innovation to create sustainability.
