The Horizon Europe co-funded candidate Partnership “Agriculture of Data” organized last 22th, 23th and 24th of June, three webinars about the Development of the Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (SRIA) for the Horizon Europe candidate partnership.
Focused on different targets: stakeholders, data providers and R&I community, the objective of the event was to gather feedback on the interim results of and input to the current SRIA development. The sessions started with an introduction about the Partnership, including the steps followed, the Partnership development, SRIA process and the R&I needs. After a break, sessions included a discussion on guiding questions about data sets, data infrastructure, R&I needs, other relevant initiatives, etc.
Next steps after summarizing the results and inputs obtained after these series of webinars will be the consolidation of the SRIA document, resulting in a first draft before the summer holiday. Then, several revisions of the SRIA’s draft will occur from July to September.
The Horizon Europe candidate Partnership Agriculture of Data aims at supporting sustainable agricultural production and at strengthening policy monitoring and evaluation capacities using the potential earth observation and other data in combination with data technologies offer. The generation of data-based solutions is expected to be one key element of the work of the partnership. First calls are expected to be launched in 2023.
