The Thematic Partnership S3 on Traceability & Big Data in the agrifood value chain participated in the 2020 edition of Smart Agrifood Summit, during last 24th and 25th of September. The Partnership counted with an space inside the Regional Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Sustainable Development of Andalucia booth. We took the opportunity for conecting with similar networks based on the digitalisation of the agrifood value chain, companies and startups. We explained the current initiatives that we are working on, such as the project scouting in charge of discover different initiatives in our network for promoting future collaborative projects in the near future.
Startup Europe Smart Agrifood Summit brought together 1,450 professionals from the agri-food and innovative ecosystems who have found new business opportunities and have accessed the most cutting-edge technologies for the development of the primary sector during this international meeting.
The new hybrid format of Startup Europe Smart Agrifood Summit has turned the opportunities of digitization into an innovative and useful tool for professionals, who have been able to access exclusive content from the forum, have followed live interviews conducted with institutional and business representatives in the 'Agrifood Live' space and, above all, they have had the opportunity to follow it from different parts of the world without the need to travel.
In this regard, the event has maintained its international essence despite the current situation with more than twenty countries represented. In short, a more interactive and productive participation that has resulted in a positive assessment by companies, entities and institutions.
