The Forum closed its 2022 edition, held last 16 – 17 February, with an attendance of more than 3,000 professionals. A very good chance to present the Thematic Partnership on Traceability and Big Data in the agrifood value chain and meet start-ups and technological businesses and institutions, besides some partners of the Andalusian regional node.
Indeed, the partnership was present in the Driving Innovation Area to explain what the partnership is about and the Interregional Innovation Investment Instrument and how SMEs and other entities can participate. The objective was to make these entities aware of this good opportunity of collaboration with other entities in Europe and identify potential partners for a future joint project.
This I3 instrument, composed by different strands, strand 1 and strand 2a and 2b, has 570M€ delivered through annual work programmes in order to fund projects focused on digital transition, green transition (including circular economy) and smart industry. Though the deadline for its first cut-off has already expired, a second one will be open next October.
Different relevant entities in the technological field were quite interested in knowing more about the partnership, which is a beginning in terms of collaboration or making alliances.
